PA Voters Should Sue Media, Not Hate Clinton or Obama
For all the talk in the media of how Pennsylvania voters are getting disillusioned before tomorrow’s big primary there, along with the non-stop discussion of whether Barack Obama alienated everyone with his remarks of “bitterness” last week or Hillary Clinton in her use of his remarks ad nauseum, PA voters should be mad at the media.
Not just because they’re handing you the usual pablum, heinous enough I grant you, but because they’ve spent the last week doing polls of “various demographics” in the state, and assigned just about everyone to categories like “bowlers” and “beer drinkers” and “gun owners”.
I’ve visited PA many times and know lots of people who currently or have lived there. PA is a lot more than beer drinkers and bowlers. And there are many PhDs and others who happen to like both beer and bowling, or choose to own a gun, etc.
I just found this the height of condescension and not helpful at all to understanding the real issues of the Democratic candidates vs what we need to bring our country from grave darkness.
