The GOP: A Magnet For Miscreants

Print Friendly

Non-conservative folks have known for eons that conservatives are made up of bigots, racists, pseudo-religious wing-nuts, and ignorant, compliant females. If anybody out there still doesn’t get it, consider these items:

From Addicting Info:

Oklahoma Christian Radio Station General Manager Calls Obama ‘Dumb Ni**er’

The slob’s name is Teddy Oyler, “Engineer/General Manager” 93.9 KIMY. After Wendy Gittleson pursued the issue, a perfunctory apology was given:

Boy, that’s heartfelt, huh? What a cleansing of the soul. Speaking of Christian folk,

Pastor Dennis Terry Introduces Rick Santorum, Tells Liberals and Non-Christians to ‘Get Out’ of America

Then there’s this little Teapublican gem:

Tea Party Supporter Heckles Elizabeth Warren, Calls Her A ‘Socialist Whore’

For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, we posted a Tea Party video that every intelligent American should see, which highlights how ignorant, dangerous, and un-American the Tea Party really is.

Elizabeth Warren, as you might expect, handled this gentleman in her usual classy way. For any conservatives reading this, classy means

having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior”

Moving on- in the ongoing effort to stigmatize the unemployed along with every other non-conservative human being in the state:

Drug test for unemployed advances in Arizona House

“If you’re out of work, Arizona lawmakers want to make you take a drug test before you get an unemployment check.

And the unemployed worker would have to pay for it.”

As many have suggested, why not require all politicians take a drug test since they are being paid with tax payer funds? Maybe a couple of state referendums would put an end to this nonsense.

In the conservative racist homophobes department:

Conservative Group Apologizes for Posting Image of Obama Dressed in S&M Chains With Fried Chicken

The website itself belongs to the John Locke Foundation, which laughingly refers to itself as:

“…an independent, nonprofit think tank that would work “for truth, for freedom, and for the future of North Carolina.”

Since this posting by Tara Servatius was brought to light they have removed the image and post from their site. Share this and help make sure this doesn’t go away quietly.

From the great Land of De Nial comes this from Haley Barbour about Mitt Romney:

“I think he needs to stay right where he is. I think where he is — he’s moderately conservative. I think that’s very in tune with the American people.”

(Like I said, drug test politicians first.) Barbour, who is a member of Karl Rove’s Super Pac American Crossroads, figures people aren’t intelligent enough to figure out that a Republican’s a Republican, regardless of what they pose as; and Romney’s posed as just about everything under the sun.

Pennsylvania Senator (R) Pat Toomey,  reassured Republicans

“I think Mitt Romney is a conservative, and I think if elected, he’ll govern as a conservative.”

And finally, when did this little pseudo-Christian pimple Kirk Cameron erupt on the face of the Evangelical Right?

As if his choice of acting jobs isn’t proof enough, he feels a need to emphasize just how ignorant he really is. In  a report on his latest far-right-nutjob-zealotry, Right Wing Watch quotes him as saying:

If the anti-Christian agenda will say, ‘here’s your identity, you’re an evolved amoeba who ought to just go do whatever you want and don’t let anybody tell you different.’ Then they can get you to throw your faith, your character, your courage, and your liberty right out the window.

Amazing how so many pseudo-Christians believe real Christians have as shallow a faith as they do, and find the idea of evolution so threatening.

“Thou shalt not bear false witness” — most liberals and conservatives are going to hell because they defy the simple command of God in this matter — but especially this silly website. Although the only thing worse than a hypocritical extremist is a lukewarm moderate.
