Rove ad points out the obvious – the President is cool

Karl Rove’s American Crossroads has put out a video that even Donald Trump says is a terrible ad.

I thought it was one of the worst commercials, in terms of what they were trying to do, that I’ve ever seen. They are making Obama look great. They are making him look like that’s the man we want to be president. I looked at that clip very closely, and actually, I couldn’t believe it.

Not only does the ad focus on Obama’s overwhelming personal popularity, it highlights the effects of the financial crisis caused by Republicans. It reminds us that Bush was the least-cool president (next to his Daddy) and that the Bush Administration gave us the “great recession”.

Nice job, Karl. I wonder how long it will be before you take down the video?
