Exposing Conservative Liar Karl Rove – Again

Karl Rove and Arianna Huffington (yes, she’s a sell-out) recently joined forces with some “newly invented swift boat group” to put out a Republican propaganda video foolishly claiming:

“…President Obama never thanked the heroes who took out bin Laden.”

Well Jed Lewison of The Jed Report wasn’t having any of it, and created this answer to the conservative lie:

Well done Mr. Lewison, and a big H/T to Smartypants.

Please share this video with friends and relatives serving our country; let them know the President thanks them, and expose the conservative liars.

Find more examples of Rove’s lying here, here, and here.

By the way…

On the link where Rove says that even Clinton would have made the call to kill Bin Laden, and Romney saying even Jimmy Carter would have made that call … so that somehow diminishes Obama’s difficult decision to enter another country without permission, to put men’s lives on the line just to kill one terrorist, when even the Vice President and Bill Gates were against it, a decision that could have ended his chance for re-election? The logic is ridiculous.

Using Rove’s and Romney’s logic, I could say any president would have made the same decision as Bush Senior to drive Saddam out of Kuwait. Does that diminish the accomplishment. Of course not. Even those of us on the left who had little respect for Bush acknowledge his accomplishment. His approval rating sky-rocketed after that accomplishment. If he hadn’t sat idly by while the economy tanked, he would have been re-elected.

Rove’s and Romney’s warped logic could apply to virtually any achievement. I could say that any NFL quarterback would have made the same winning play as a quarterback who won a Super Bowl. Does that diminish the play of the quarterback? Of course not. The logic is ridiculous.

The radical right is at the point, with their reflexive criticism of all things democrat, where no one but a right-winger would take them seriously.
