Money Can’t Buy You Relevance Donald

In his latest pathetic quest for political relevance, Donald Trump is really putting himself out there, starting with ramping up his birther rhetoric. At the same time, Romney is too beholden to Trump to act like a leader and tell him and the other birther idiots to knock it off.

Think Progress reported on a couple of Trump’s birther tweets:

Imagine a Vice President meeting foreign dignitaries looking like this.

“I wonder if @BarackObama ever applied to Occidental,Columbia or Harvard as a foreign student. When can we see (cont)”

Let’s take a closer look at that birth certificate. @BarackObama was described in 2003 as being “born in Kenya.”

(FYI – if you’re interested in non-stop ignorance and undeserved self-importance, you’ve got to read Trump’s tweets)

According to Think Progress,

“Romney is also soliciting low dollar contributions to win a meal with Trump.”

Imagine sitting through an hour or so of that blowhard telling you how great he thinks he is; so much for an appetite.

And another Trump tweet via the Daily News:

“Hmmm…can you imagine me speaking at the RNC Convention in Tampa? That’s a speech everyone would watch.”

Trump has also

“mused publicly about starting a Super PAC to support Romney.”

And he keeps “jokingly” suggesting he’d be the best pick for Romney’s V.P. In all fairness, Romney bought his nomination, why can’t Trump? They really were made for each other.
