Bill Kristol started it. Back in May, the aspiring strategic hydra head of Fox News called for some Hillary:
For our part, we’d like to see a decisive triumph for Romney and his running mate over two formidable representatives of contemporary liberalism, rather than a discounted victory over a flawed ticket with only one strong candidate. So we sincerely suggest to President Obama: Dump Joe Biden.
It downright stands out as …an honorable notion? A lean towards a fair fight? I mean, it’s almost noble what Bill just said, right? Maybe …maybe Hillary?
Waitaminute. Clever girl.
It seems that in the throes of an ocean of nut butter, a cohesive pool of poison water looks almost normal, almost tempting. No one was actually fooled, and splitting off the VP for a second term never was never actually entertained by anyone except a couple poli-sci majors in the back room of a kegger over bong rips.
*gurglegurglegurgle* *shhhhhlluuuuuuurp* *cough cough* “OMG guys. Guys. What if, what if Obama dropped crazy Uncle Joe for Hillary?” “Woah.” “Hey, quit hoggin’ it. Pass.”
But Bill Kristol, Fox’s sneering Grinch / Tim Curry / Cheshire Cat knew exactly what he was saying. The words are above, but what he was thinking was “Plant the seed of dissent, turn my words into their thoughts, and add water. You have my orders Talk Radio; go forth and LIE.”
And nothing grew. Obama was not considering Hillary for his second term. Even if it was a good idea, it would take what is Obama’s relatively commanding lead over the the Romney/Ryan debacle of …everything, and instill a sense of confusion, a sense of chaos, a manifestation of the lying Limbaugh constant talking point that the Democratic party is floundering, scrambling.
But there was this one kid…
Potentially ironically gay Matt Drudge drove that bus full-force into the tunnel. And drove. And drove. That graphic just above? Today. Over three months after Kristol’s words were spoken. Along with the “upper left” text:

You’ll recall what we just covered: NO Democrat is seriously considering a Hillary switch (unless that “lunch” ALL CAPS HEADLINE is hinting at some sort of Pelosi-secret-twin Parent Trap scheme). But Drudge beats the stupid drum and Rush talks of chaos and for many conservatives who are loud in bars and post often on Facebook, that’s God’s honest truth – and you can awkwardly dance to it.
So if you’re accidentally around some tools issuing forth the conspiratorial words of some right wing pundit through a parrot that lives in their wide gobs, just know it’s coming from a place of desperate stupidity.
