A Part of History

If you’ve been reading this blog over the past week, you know that we posted images shot by Annie Walker-Leonard, a Texas delegate at the 2012 DNC Convention and contributor to this blog (Carolina FestDay1, Day2, Day3)

On day 3, I was checking several online sites for the best live convention feed, as well as viewing the cable and television news networks, and found that all were using the C-Span feed. I watched the President’s speech, along with much of America, and someone familiar appeared briefly on the screen.

Yes, its been confirmed – that’s actually Annie! In the video below, drag the bar to 38 minutes, 37 seconds into the speech, near the end (very brief, just a few seconds). And as this was the most widely used recording of the speech, its pretty much guaranteed to end up in the National Archives. Someone we all know here at All Things Democrat is now a part of recorded history. Very cool.
