Hey Mitt, It’s The 47% Calling, Should I Tell Them You’re Not Here?

The 47% are responding to Mitt Romney’s declaration that he’s  written them off. Here are just a handful of their replies:

Now for some “inconvenient truths”: this is how America voted in 2008:

Here’s how the non-taxpayer population shakes out:

Enough Said

That’s My President

The craziest part about Romney and his fat-cat pals complaining that 47% of us are not paying income taxes is that ROMNEY hasn’t paid income taxes since 1999!!!

Only a businessman has the experience to solve America’s problems???
I retired from an executive position in one of America’s largest and most successful corporations. The CEO had a single objective—-improve the value of the company stock,i.e. PROFIT. Those in the company who did not contribute (the non-producers) were terminated. That is how companies work, and should. But in our society the non-producers are the elderly, the sick, the poor, our children and injured war veterans. Businessmen HAVE NO EXPERIENCE dealing with the non-producers in our society. It is clear that Mitt Romney has no experience nor interest in doing anything for this segment of our society. His 47% statement is ample testimony.By the way, wasn’t George W. Bush a businessman?

I literally get furious when they get on this 47% bullshit. Many of these people are hanging on by a thread, and in many instances, simply taking the personal deductions that all Americans take, while people like Romney have hundreds of credits, deductions, exemptions, etc., squirrel their money away offshore, and game the tax system for all it’s worth. The tax system need an overhaul alright, and they can start with deductions for peoples’ prancing ponies!

Well said, Leighton. The president is supposed to represent all Americans. What in the world would Romney do with the disabled, the mentally challenged, and other Americans who are not able to take care of themselves? He’d likely tell them they are lazy.

And Cindy raises the point of the most manipulated tax return in America – over 400 pages in Romney’s latest return and he’s still hiding things. I guess that’s proof Romney created jobs; imagine how many accountants, tax attorneys and support staff were needed to complete a 400+ page tax return? And that will be followed by his amended return immediately after the election where he will claim deductions for the charitable contributions he purposely skipped now in order to campaign on a 14% tax rate, as opposed to 9%. More phoniness from the king of fraud.
