Thirty thousand feet in the air. The plane is full of delegates from Texas and California, due to a connecting flight. I’m seated by a camera man from a Sacramento CBS affiliate; state senator Royce west is two seats in front of me (great man!) I hear a republican passenger behind me who is obviously encroached upon by the presence of so many democrats on the same flight,talking about how the democratic party has lost it’s moral compass. The 3 vodka tonics are kicking in, and I’m compelled to extinguish this tea party hate filled imbecile’s bullsh*t with a lesson on equal rights! But, the peace warrior in me tells me to hold my tongue!
