And the Winner Of Today’s Media-Whore War Is… Gloria Allred. I can’t stand this woman, but her information is actually relevant to the campaign, as it not only goes to Mitt Romney’s integrity, but how far he’ll go for his moneyed friends. According to Gawker:

Radar Online broke the news yesterday that attention-happy attorney Gloria Allred was on her way to Boston for a court hearing aimed at unsealing sworn testimony given by Romney that could potentially harm his campaign.

Allred was joined by the Boston Globe and Maureen Stemberg Sullivan, ex-wife of Staples founder and Romney pal Tom Stemberg, in her quest to remove the gag order preventing the testimony from being released.

Romney allegedly lied under oath about the value of Staples to prevent Stemberg’s wife from walking away with her fair share.

According to TMZ’s sources, Romney told the court that Staples — a company Bain Capital had invested in early on — was “overvalued,” and referred to Stemberg as a “dreamer.”

From TMZ:

Partly as a result of Romney’s testimony, Maureen got relatively little in the divorce, but we’re told just weeks after the divorce ended, Romney and Tom went to Goldman Sachs and cashed in THEIR stock for a fortune. Short story — Romney allegedly lied to help his friend and screw the friend’s wife over.

We’ll see how this plays out. As for Donald Trump, even with all of his wealth, he just cannot get enough attention. The big question is, why do Republicans cow-tow to this mis-fit? This is Trump’s “game-changing” announcement… seriously?

“If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications and if he gives his passport applications and records,” Trump says he will give a $5 million check to a charity of the president’s choice.

The check will be given within one hour of President Obama releasing all of the records, which Trump says will end the question and anger of many Americans.”

First, let’s clarify: the “many angry Americans” are the “birthers”; the ignorant, believe-anything-anti-Obama losers, who make up the Tea Party and part of the Republican lunatic fringe. Even I would tell Trump to stick his offer where the sun doesn’t shine, 5 mil or not. Trump managed to feel relevant for another five minutes, though; so he achieved his goal.
