How the Romney Camp is “Fixing” the 47% Mistake

Mitt Romney has attempted to walk back his comments that labeled half of America as moochers who view themselves as victims:

Romney: “…clearly in a campaign, with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question-and-answer sessions, now and then you’re going to say something that doesn’t come out right. In this case, I said something that’s just completely wrong.”

Translation: “Some idiots weren’t paying attention; not only were guests and workers not screened properly, but someone failed to confiscate all electronic devices. Now I’ve got to waste time I don’t have covering my ass. It won’t happen again, understand?”
