The memorandum of understanding which designates the rules of tonight’s VP debate includes a rule that the moderator will refer the Republican as Mister Ryan, not Congressman Ryan.
Would it not be freaking HILARIOUS if, when Ryan and Biden shake hands prior to the debate, Biden were to ask Ryan just loud enough to be picked up by the mircrophones: “Hey there, can I call you Congressman Ryan?”
What could Ryan possibly respond with? “No”. He’d come off like a ginormous a-hole!
I think that one question would put Ryan off his game before the debate even started.
