Stop Funding the Radical Right’s Agenda – Boycott Businesses That Hate Democrats

papajohnsboycottWhy do we Democrats continue supporting businesses that hate Democrats?

Right-wing business owners and CEOs routinely pronounce their hatred for our President and all things Democrat. Koch Industries, Papa John’s Pizza, Applebee’s, and even Facebook’s CEO are among the outspoken darlings of the radical right. Big business funds groups that are determined to destroy the middle class and our social safety net. They pay the lowest wage possible with no benefits and threaten to slash jobs if our democracy doesn’t work the way they want. They fund efforts to convert states to so-called “right-to-work” states, where one can be fired “for any reason or no reason at all”. Democrats should stop rewarding big business for bad behavior. A sustained effort will affect their bottom-line, and for these vulture capitalists, money is all they understand.

Boycott these businesses!

Fortunately for you, your fellow Dems have been busy compiling lists of businesses that don’t deserve your hard-earned money. There is also a smartphone app that will help you while you’re shopping (see Buycott app).

anti-facebookBoycott Facebook! Mark Zuckerberg, a billionaire and the thief who stole Facebook from the guys who hired him to create it back in his college days, is a member of the radical right who invites his conservative pals to his own home to fund-raise for Republicans, like that loud-mouth Chris Christie, a likely 2016 presidential candidate. Why have a Facebook page with advertisements that make Zuckerberg millions of dollars each year that he’ll use to defeat Democrats??? Trade in your Facebook page for Google+ or a free blog app like Blogger or WordPress and Zuckerthief’s net worth will plummet, along with that of his Wall Street pals. Dump your Facebook page today!

boycotttoysrusToys”R”Us. The company was privatized back in 2005 by the worst of all vulture capitalists, Bain Capital. Then Bain did what they normally do to companies – they slashed employee wages and benefits, cut jobs, and outsourced their call center jobs for minimum wage with no benefits and even less for the jobs that went offshore. Have you noticed that Toys”R”Us stores have been tough to deal with for several years? Poor customer service, they never seem to have what you want, a Rewards program that’s a joke, and a return policy that seems designed to make sure you cannot return what you buy? You can blame Bain Capital for that. Boycott their ass!

  • Stop Fraking First

    Moronic.
Reacting to the symptom. Boycotting Toys’R’Us just punishes the victims. Should you yield to the facts as presented, instead offer to carpool the employees to save them money. Make them lunches as you would the homeless. Although… if your also making sandwiches for the homeless you have to be careful not to buy from certain brands.

    Incomplete.
Why is Kraft not listed here. Since you care not for the impact of the employee’s of a boycott. Make sure to punish them for being part of Altria in the past.

There’s some tortured logic, from someone who has an id entitled “Stop Fraking First”. By your logic, fracking creates jobs so it should not be stopped.

Boycotting is a simple concept that most people understand. If you walk into a restaurant and the owner says he hates you and others like you, do you leave or take a seat and let him profit from your business? This self-serving logic by big business that says, “allow us to express our hatred toward half of our own customers, but if you stop buying our products you’re only hurting yourselves” – this is the reason the nation rejected Romney and his vulture capitalism. There are too many good companies out there that welcome our business. When their demand increases and they hire more workers, employees at the right-wing companies can make the move.
